Knubb is an object that shakes the box

A well-known shape of a tray or a shallow bowl in its principal form, but with top face warps whimsically down through the object. Knubb reminds us of a face or a mask with, deep-set eyes and a mysterious expression,; an animated object that fits well into our collection.

The word Knubb is Norwegian, meaning a short and stubby piece of wood. Figuratively speaking it could mean a powerful and compact creature.

Apples – yes.
Blueberries – no.

The holes puncturing the tray through all four feet are connecting the top surface of the tray to the table top.
