In the fall of 2024 we had a long line-up of candidates. The ‘Anker´-model stood out but somehow didn’t feel strong enough. So we increased the scale by 30% and the object gained a different position. The bigger size took better care of the candle, and turned a regular pillar candle into something small. By being more than merely sufficient it transformed into something festive. Something exuberant. A bonfire on top of your table.

In the final step of the process we scaled it up an additional 5% and cut the legs to properly ground it. Later on we found great similarities between ‘Anker’ and tripod vessels carved from Basalt stone dating back to the bronze ages. This made the concept even stronger to us.
